At Tio Jose Coffee Tour, coffee isn't just a business—it’s our family’s history, written into the very soil of Costa Rica. For over 100 years and across five generations, our family has been cultivating this land in the beautiful Grecia region. We’ve weathered changing times, but our core philosophy has never shifted: treat the land with respect, and it will reward you with something extraordinary.

We grew up watching our grandparents nurture these fields, learning the delicate dance of shade, soil, and high-altitude microclimates that makes Costa Rican coffee legendary. Today, we carry that heritage forward as a proud, biodynamic coffee farm. We believe in farming in harmony with nature, protecting our local ecosystem, and ensuring our land thrives for the next five generations to come.

But sustainability doesn't stop at the harvest. As modern farmers, we are passionate about zero-waste innovation. That’s why we started upcycling our nutrient-rich coffee byproducts—transforming what others discard into gourmet retail creations like our specialty coffee fruit tea and artisanal jams.
